The person in
the loop
I’ve spent 10 years in UX/UI product design, on a graphic-design foundation I never left behind — identity, brand and web. Product and visual aren’t two careers for me; they’re the same one at different distances. The constant is a pull toward structure: the systems underneath the screens, and the craft on their surface.
What changed recently is that I stopped handing the design over. I design the product and then build it — the interface, the design system, and the code that runs it. Figma and Claude are how one person covers that much ground.
That changes the decisions, not just the speed. What a flow does when someone goes off-script, or whether to ship a feature the platform can’t guarantee, is a design call and a build call at the same time — and it comes out cleaner when the same person is holding both.
What I care about is making things that last: interfaces that feel considered, systems that scale gracefully, and a process that keeps quality high as a product grows.
Designed and prototyped by the same person.
